Sunrise Florist recognizes the sensitive nature of the personal and financial information that you disclose to us and we are committed to protecting your privacy. We think it is important that you understand what information we collect about you and how we use this information. Information We Collect
If you are simply visiting our site and you do not register or place an order, we do not collect any personal information.
To help you order flowers, plants and gift baskets for delivery anywhere in South Florida including anywhere in greater Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Delray Beach or Miami, as well as all of the surrounding areas, we must have accurate information to pass along to our credit card processing service and to handle the details of your order internally. In our normal course of order processing we collect personal information about you including:
Your Complete Name
Credit Card Billing Address
Home Phone
Work Phone
Email Address
Name, address and telephone number of floral arrangement, plant or gift basket recipient.
Credit Card Number
Credit Card Expiration Date
Credit Card Verification Number
All of this information is required if you want us to process your order for flowers, plants or gift baskets. If you do not provide this information then we are not able to complete you order and it will be cancelled.
Parties with Whom We Share Information
We work with a credit card processing company to process all florist orders that we receive. This processor requires all of the information that we collect except for the information pertaining to the recipient of the flowers, plants or gift baskets. We also require all of this information so that we can process your order internally.
We do not share any of the information with any other entity unless that information is specifically subpoenaed by a court of competent jurisdiction in the course of a criminal investigation for credit card fraud or for other legal reasons.
Our Security Procedures
We take steps to safeguard your information. We restrict access to your personal and account information to our employees who need to know that information to perform their job function and to the credit card processor that we work with. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your information. Your credit card information is never stored on our servers.
Use of Cookies
Our server sets and retrieves "cookies" in the normal course of browsing our site. These cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information. They are "state" cookies which simply means that they are used to identify a browser session in order to make sure that our server communicates directly to your browser (maintains state) and not with the browser of any other person visiting our site. When you leave our site the cookie expires.
